Clamped / Removed Vehicles

When a resident contacts Lambeth Housing to report a clamped / removed vehicle, the Customer Service Advisor (CSA) will advise them the contact details for payment of the Contractor – Control Plus, which in the case of clamps will be detailed on the ticket.

Note: This only covers vehicles which are clamped or removed from an estate. Vehicles clamped / removed on a main road or a highway are handled by the Environmental Department.

Appeals / Queries Against Parking Penalties

Customers can appeal in writing against parking penalties that they think are unfair or invalid. The complaint will be investigated, if the owner would like the vehicle released immediately then they will be required to pay the fee and make the complaint in writing. There is no verbal appeal service.

When we enforce the rules on parking properly, it helps us all by ensuring that:

  • We have safer roads on our estates - greater safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
  • There is less non - resident parking (unless an authorised visitor) ensuring a greater availability of parking spaces for residents and disabled people.
  • There is better access for emergency and service vehicles.
  • We spend less money on repairing pavements.
  • We have a cleaner environment.
