North Lambeth town centre
North Lambeth is the most northerly of Lambeth's town centres and is made up of Bishops, Princes, Oval and Vassall wards. Its total population is 45,981.
It includes Waterloo, which is increasingly linked to the Central London economy. The area contains a growing number of land uses and activities linked to the world-city functions of London, including the largest concentration of arts and cultural facilities in Europe. It is also strategically located adjacent to Bankside and the Elephant and Castle in Southwark and the Nine Elms / Battersea corridor in Wandsworth.
North Lambeth is also home to the internationally renowned Oval Cricket Ground.
