- The Department for Work and Pensions

- Local government ombudsman
The Local Government Ombudsman investigates complaints of injustice arising from maladministration by local authorities and certain other bodies. If you think you have been unfairly treated by your local council and they have not been able to put things right, you can complain to the Ombudsman who may be able to help.
