The tenant management team
This team is responsible for:
- Setting up and developing new TMOs in the borough and the provision of development funding, start up costs, equipment and premises
- Re-negotiating the TMO Modular Management Agreements (MMAs) if and when requested
- Providing the annual management and maintenance allowances payable to each TMO and monitoring of the budgets for these
- Providing support, advice and training to TMO board members
- Liaison with and monitoring of the work of independent resident advisors (S.16 Agencies)
- Liaising with the Department for Communities and Local Government (formerly the ODPM), local authorities and other bodies concerned with the development and activities of TMOs.
The team is comprised of one officer and a manager. These officers have particular responsibility for providing support, advice and training to TMO boards. They perform the TMO liaison role on behalf of the council, required under the TMO Modular Management Agreement.
