Lambeth’s magical night of fireworks

Thousands of people flocked to London’s biggest and best free fireworks displays on Friday night.

An estimated 140,000 people enjoyed the free displays organised by Lambeth Council on Clapham Common, Brockwell Park and Streatham Common, making the events the biggest and most successful to date.

The popularity of the night has spread far and wide with people coming from all over the capital coming to Lambeth to enjoy the displays.

The council has been running free fireworks displays for 20 years. The events are supported by Lambeth Council’s partner, Cleanaway.
