Help shape the future of West Norwood and Streatham

Streatham High Road

The council is developing two 'masterplans' for improving areas to the south of the borough. A masterplan looks at business, shopping, entertainment, transport, housing, parks and open spaces - so it's bound to affect everyone who lives and works there.

A number of events will be taking place over the next few weeks to find out what local people think about some of the ideas for change and how we can make the most of the things people like. If you live, work or visit Streatham or West Norwood then please take some time to get involved and have your say.

Future Norwood

An important stage of public consultation for the West Norwood 'masterplan' starts on Monday 14 July.

A newsletter outlining the development options will be distributed from Monday to everyone living in the local area and will contain a questionnaire for people to complete and return. You can also complete the questionnaire online at www.lambeth.gov.uk/futurenorwood

Future Streatham

Following initial discussions and a travelling exhibition, a public workshop will be held to discuss the thinking so far for the Streatham High Road area masterplan. This workshop will feed back on work to date and explore options for change. The workshop will specifically focus on 'spatial ideas' presented as four alternative approaches to the design of Streatham town centre.

Workshop

Wed 16 July, 7-9.30pm Streatham Baptist Church, 22 Lewin Road

Reserve your place by emailing futurestreatham@lambeth.gov.uk, or call 0800 052 6336.

More detailed consultation on options will take place in the autumn.
