London Youth Games award ceremony
The achievements of Lambeth's best young athletes have been recognised at the recent London Youth Games awards.
The award ceremony was held on Friday 11 July at Lambeth Town Hall.
Among the invited guests celebrating the young people's achievements were former Commonwealth High Jump champion Dalton Grant, MP Kate Hoey and England's number one goalkeeper, Siobhon Chamberlain.
Over 300 young people represented Lambeth at this years games in more than 30 different events. Every participant received a certificate and special awards were given in the following categories:
London Youth Games person of the year
- Girl - Innes Bogle-Reyes who won gold in judo
- Boy - Jesus Martinez-Ruiz who participated in indoor rowing
London Youth Games Team of the year
London Youth Games Coach of the year
- Moji Odusania - coached girls basketball
