Residents with improvement works carried out to their homes were invited to take part in a prize-draw. The competition was simple, they just had to fill in a customer satisfaction survey when the works were complete. Mrs Woodley had a new walk-in shower installed, she filled in the survey and sent it into the HIA's quarterly prize draw – and became the competition’s latest winner.

Mrs Woodley was overcome with joy on hearing that she had won a £30 gift voucher. She said; "I've worked hard all my life as a cleaner and I’ve never won a competition before."

Cllr. John Kazantzis, Cabinet Member for Housing commented; "The Home Improvement Agency does excellent work, and I am pleased that a long-standing resident, like Mrs Woodley, who has been a Lambeth tenant for nearly 60 years, is a prize-winner."
