About the Safer Lambeth Partnership
Safer Lambeth Partnership was established following the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. The partnership includes the council, Metropolitan Police, probation service, primary care trust, HM Prison Service, fire service, Community Police Consultative Group, Crown Prosecution Service and a range of voluntary and community organisations.
The Partnership is overseen by a board jointly chaired by the borough and Chief Executive of the council.
Our priorities
The Safer Lambeth Partnership is responsible for delivering the Lambeth Community Safety Strategy 2005-2008. Based on what you told us we will be focusing on:
- The impact of drugs and alcohol
- Reducing violent crime
- Investing in young people
- Supporting victims and witnesses and challenging hate crime
- Tackling burglary, robbery, anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and prostitution
- Keeping you informed.
