LGBT hate crime is considered as:

  • "Any incident which is perceived to be based upon prejudice towards or hatred of the victim because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation disability or so perceived by the victim or any other person."

Lambeth LGBT Forum

Lambeth LGBT Forum logoThe Lambeth LGBT Forum serves as a voice to promote LGBT issues locally. Its members are people who live, work, study and play in the borough, and it has links with organisations such as Unison, Lambeth Council, the Metropolitan Police Force, Victim Support and Black Lesbians UK (BLUK). The Forum has a discussion monthly which is attended by a guest speaker from a relevant agency in the borough to discuss issues pertinent to LGBT people in the borough.
