Future Streatham

Throughout 2008, hundreds of local residents, businesses and stakeholders, have been telling us their vision, ideas and comments for the future of Streatham. These comments are being fed in to a masterplan for Streatham.

There have been three stages of consultation, which started in April 2008. The most recent consultation stage took place in November 2008.

The full consultation report can now be downloaded at the Future Streatham page.

Megabowl and Caesar's Nightclub

Lambeth Council have received a planning application for the former Megabowl and Caesars Nightclub sites (Ref: 07/04307/FUL and 08/04308/CON).

Lambeth Council's planning department has validated this planning application and the statutory consultation will run until 12 January. A leaflet will be distributed to local residents that outlines how you can find out more and register your comments and you can also find out further information on the Planning department's page.

The full plans are also available at Phoenix House, 10 Wandsworth Road, Vauxhall, London SW8 2LL. For further information please contact tpac@lambeth.gov.uk

Streatham hub development

A new state-of-the-art ice rink, swimming pool and leisure centre are all part of the exciting 'Streatham Hub' project.
The revised planning application was approved in November 2008. The proposed revisions bring significant improvements that minimise the impact of the development on residents in the surrounding area.
