Estate Agents Seminar - 25 September 2007
Are you an estate agent in Lambeth or Southwark? If so, come along to the Lambeth Estate Agents Seminar in September where you can find out about proposed new laws which will affect your business. You will have the opportunity to meet national and local regulators, representatives from Trading Standards and officials from the Office of Fair Trading and the Department of Communities and Local Government who will be on hand to discuss topical issues of concern and answer your questions.

We regularly inspect shops and businesses in Lambeth - everything from estate agents and garages to Internet companies and theatres - to ensure their trading practices, advertising and pricing comply with the law.
Our Trading Standards service has an important role in supporting and advising businesses, as well as cracking down on unsafe products and unscrupulous traders. We also give you access to safety warnings and safety advice sheets.
Part of our job is to ensure that you receive the correct amount of any product you buy. On our inspections we check all weighing and measuring equipment to ensure that it is fair and legal.
