Health and social care voluntary sector forum

Lambeth Adults' and Community Services and the Lambeth Primary Care Trust (PCT) have established a forum for the voluntary and community sector who provide, or are interested in, local health and social care services.

Noticeboard

Latest news and information can now be found on our voluntary sector forum noticeboard.

Purpose of the forum

The main purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for staff from Lambeth Council, Lambeth PCT, other health trusts and voluntary and community organisations, to come together and discuss issues of common interest, share knowledge and experience, and identify areas of good practice.

The forum also exists to give the voluntary and community sector an opportunity to be involved at an early stage in the development and implementation of new policies or service changes.

The Forum provides the voluntary and community sector with information on changes to the council's funding opportunities and plans for service commissioning.

You can find further information about the purpose of the forum in the terms of reference document.

Forum meetings and communications

The forum meets four times a year.

Meetings run for half a day, with occasional full day sessions on specific issues.

We also send regular electronic Bulletins to forum members.

Future meetings will be held from 9.45am to 1pm at the Assembly Room, Town Hall, Brixton Hill. The dates are as follows:

  • Thursday 26 February 2009
  • Thursday 21 May 2009
  • Thursday 10 September 2009
  • Thursday 26 November 2009
