Enforcement Policy for Licensing Act 2003
The Licensing Act 2003 contains provisions for the regulation of the sale/supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment, and the supply of late night refreshment.
Lambeth Council will enforce these provisions and will seek to do so in a firm but fair, open, consistent and helpful way, in line with the principles of good enforcement outlined in theĀ Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Regulators' Compliance Code and the Code for Crown Prosecutors. This document provides further information on the way in which we will carry out our enforcement activities.
