Basaira Elderly Centre is a registered charity for elderly people living in Lambeth. Languages spoken include Urdu, Arabic and Punjabi.

You can drop-in for information and advice, sign-posting to other services, assistance with form-filling, use of exercise equipment as well as a cup of tea and a chat. The organisation is dedicated to developing and implementing measures to help members to break-away from isolation, promote interaction, networking and friendship.

Basaira offers single sex keep-fit classes at Baldry Gardens and carers and escorts are welcome to provide assistance for those that need help to take part.  Basaira's popular exercise classes are held on Wednesdays at:
