Lambeth Community Safety Strategy 2005-2008

The four objectives of the strategy are:

• Prevention - addressing the causes of crime 
• Engagement –"It's our borough"
• Reassurance - feeling safer
• Enforcement - taking action.

The six themes are:

• Drugs and alcohol
• Violent crime
• Young people
• Victims and witnesses
• Priority crime (including robbery, burglary, motor vehicle crime, anti-social behaviour/enviro-crime, kerb-crawling, prostitution and illegal drug dealing)
• Communication.
