Investors in People
Lambeth has formally been awarded full "Investors in People" accreditation following the assessment in November 2008. We have now been officially accredited since November 2004, following a successful building block route, and join 30,000 other organisations in the UK. We are one of the third of London boroughs who have successfully met the Investors in People (IiP) Standard.
We were delighted with the external assessor's appraisal of our council and were particularly proud of their comments that the "London Borough of Lambeth is an excellent example of an organisation that has used the framework to address weaknesses within it. By taking on board the development areas from the review last year, the Council has been able to make significant changes, which have undoubtedly impacted positively on organisational performance."
Although we have now achieved the Investors in People standard, work will continue to ensure that our practice continually improves to ensure that Lambeth becomes an employer of choice.
