Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ) (Formerly LDAF)
The Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ), formerly the LDAF, award covers the Common Induction Standards in the context of supporting people with a learning disability.
Achievement of the award will also lead to progression within the health and social care sector and demonstrate achievement and evidence towards NVQs at the appropriate level.
Learner outcomes
The LDQ covers the following core units:
- principle of learning disability support
- your role as a learning disability worker
- health and safety in a learning disability service
- protecting people with learning disabilities form abuse.
