Lambeth is fortunate, with its central location, to have a wide variety of premises for you to choose from, including the British Airways London Eye and The Brit Insurance Oval.
How to book premises
First, approach the venue of your choice and make a provisional booking. Then confirm with the Superintendent Registrar that registration officers from the Lambeth Register Office will be available on that day at that time.
Please note that it is essential that you agree the date and time with both the Superintendent Registrar and the venue before making any other arrangements.
British Airways London Eye
Celebrate your wedding in style at British Airways London Eye.
The ceremony is performed in a private capsule decorated with flowers.
It is timed perfectly so that vows are exchanged at the top of the Eye: the couple is pronounced husband and wife 135 metres above London surrounded by friends, family and breathtaking scenery.
On the descent the corks are popped and the party are served chilled champagne.

Oval Events - The Brit Insurance Oval
The Brit Oval, home of Surrey County Cricket Club, rich in history and tradition is synonymous with quality and is recognised as one of Britain's premier sporting arenas.

Lambeth Town Hall
There are various rooms in Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton, in which ceremonies can take place. These are: the Assembly Hall, the Council Chamber, its Ante Room, Room 8, and the Circular Hall.
The Assembly Hall is perhaps the best known part of the Town Hall and is the borough's largest council-owned hall.
The Council Chamber is a most impressive venue for any formal occasion and the Circular Hall is one of the Town Hall's most attractive features. Paved in Belgian black, Sicilian white and Siberian green marbles and surrounded by stained glass memorial windows this truly is a unique wedding venue.
Since 1 April 2007 new rates have applied to holding weddings in the Town Hall.
