Lambeth Council believes consultation and public involvement are at the heart of good decision making. We are committed to consulting widely when making decisions and we will actively listen to the views of the public and others with an interest in the services we provide.

The consultation on the 2010/11 budget has now finished. Residents were asked to express their views on Lambeth Council’s financial management and how the council can best tackle the financial challenges ahead.

Consultation on "Positive Ageing - An Older People's Strategy for Lambeth (2009-2014) - Draft for consultation". The consultation on the draft older people's strategy has now ended. Thank you to everyone who gave us their comments, or came along to one of the consultation events. We are currently collating and analysing all the information we have received. A report, including a summary of the consultation findings will be going to Cabinet on 27 July 2009.
We recently consulted on the introduction of a controlled drinking zone for all public spaces in the borough.
Lambeth has now begun consultation on the new Joint Strategy for Services for People with Physical and Sensory Impairments. You can get involved in shaping services and facilities in the borough by taking part in this process. We are keen to hear from as many people as possible with physical and sensory impairments, and from those who provide care or support to a person with a physical or sensory impairment.
Lambeth Council and the Lambeth Primary Care Trust (PCT) working with our partner agencies, providers, carers and people with learning disabilities have produced the 2008 to 2013 draft Joint Commissioning Strategy Your Care, Your Way. We would like you to tell us whether you think the right issues and actions have been identified, whether you disagree with anything, or if you feel we have missed out important things.
The Local Community Action Fund is an innovative scheme which involves making funds available for small projects that bring real benefits to local communities in each of the borough's 21 wards.
