Consultation on new domiciliary and home care services

In Lambeth, the current contract for providing domiciliary and home care services is coming to an end, and we are planning to re-commission this service. As part of this process we are making changes to improve the service. We have started consulting with people to find out how well the current service is meeting their needs and what they think about the planned changes. People who receive home care services will still continue to receive those services in their home as usual. The consultation will end on Tuesday 31 January 2012.

What we are consulting on

We have produced a domiciliary care specification and an enablement service specification. We have begun consultation on these to find out what people think about the changes we’re planning and how we can make further improvements to the new service. A four-page summary document about these specifications has been produced and it would be useful for people to refer to this document when completing the questionnaire.
