Positive Ageing - An Older People's Strategy for Lambeth

Consultation on "Positive Ageing - An Older People's Strategy for Lambeth (2009-2014) - Draft for consultation"

The consultation on the draft older people's strategy has now ended.

Thank you to everyone who gave us their comments, or came along to one of the consultation events.

We are currently collating and analysing all the information we have received. A report, including a summary of the consultation findings will be going to Cabinet on 27 July 2009.

Here is a report of what older people told us during the deliberative stage of consultation, used to develop the draft older people's strategy for formal consultation.

You may also be interested in findings from qualitative research including older people around their use of parks, leisure and cultural facilities in the borough. The findings of this research were also taken into account in developing the strategy for older people.

Results were also used from the "Every Older Person Matters" workshop, part of the Citizen's Focus programme which included a mix of residents and staff from council and partner organisations.
