The Ward Purse is an scheme which involves making funds available for small projects that bring real benefits to local communities in each of the borough's 21 wards.
Each year we invite residents and local groups to help decide how the council allocates its budget. In 2009, we launched "Your borough, your budget, your choice" which gave residents the power to decide how the council spent £250,000.
