The department, headed by Mike Suarez, Executive Director of Finance and Resources, delivers some key frontline services such as customer services, council tax and benefits. It also supports service delivery through operational support and good legal and financial management across the council.

We consulted over 800 Lambeth residents on how the council should spend its 2008/09 budget and heard the views of a wide range of residents.
