The Divisional Director, Corporate Finance is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Corporate Finance division.

The Corporate Finance Division is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the council’s corporate finances.

• a comprehensive treasury function managing the council’s cash flow, long term borrowing and investments
• performance managing and administrating the council’s pensions investments and producing accounts for the fund
• a financial control function to ensure financial systems are operating efficiently and in line with practice
• a corporate reconciliations function, covering bank accounts and key systems such as council tax and business rates
• a grants team to source and support bids for funding opportunities and promote best accounting practice for grants
