London Borough of Lambeth Pensions Open Day 2010
On 8 February 2010, the London Borough of Lambeth held its annual Pensions Open Day for pension scheme members. The event covered the benefits of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), how the pension fund is managed and ways to increase pension rights.
The 2008 Local Government Pension Scheme
A new-look Local Government Pension Scheme will be introduced in April 2008.
Not all the legislation is yet in place, and many aspects of the new scheme are still under discussion.
