ICT strategy 2009/10 - 2011/12
ICT Services play a critical role in supporting the council and key partners. The ICT Strategy 2009/10 - 2011/12 describes our journey and sets out the direction for delivering further improvements to the service we deliver and the support we provide to the organisation.
The strategy has three core priorities:
- improve information management - ensuring that information is used, maintained, secured and disposed of in accordance with our needs, relevant legislation and standards
- streamline our infrastructure and applications - through standardisation and rationalisation, reducing cost and improving resilience
- provide even higher quality customer service - constantly improving the service we deliver to our end users and customers.
