Our publication scheme - the information guide
We routinely publish information about us, our spending, our priorities, our decisions, our policies and procedures, information in lists and registers, and about our services. The classes of information below are designed to help you to find the information that you are looking for.
The classes of information
Organisational information, locations and contacts, constitutional and legal governance. This section includes details of the Council's structure and our decision making process.
Financial information relating to projected and actual income and expenditure, tendering, procurement and contracts. Our financial statements and budgets, and information about our pay and grading structure is included in this section.
Information about our strategies and performance, plans, assessments, inspections and reviews. Our corporate plan and annual reports are included in this section.
Policy proposals and decisions. Decision making processes, internal criteria and procedures, consultations.
Information about our current written protocols for delivering our functions and responsibilities.
Information held in registers which we are required by law to make available and other lists and registers held relating to the functions of the Council.
Advice and guidance, booklets and leaflets, transactions and media releases. A description of the services we offer.
Note on the above classes of information
The classes of information will not generally include:
- Information the disclosure of which is prevented by law, or exempt under the Freedom of Information Act, or is otherwise properly considered to be protected from disclosure.
- Information which is in a draft form.
- Information that is no longer readily available as it is contained in files that have been placed in archive storage, or is difficult to access for similar reasons.
