You must be on the electoral register to be able to vote. You can add your name to the register by completing and returning our voter registration form. You can also request a postal vote.
Every year, everyone on the electoral register is asked to confirm their details and notify the council of any changes to them.
Can anyone register to vote in Lambeth?
No - you must be a British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of another European Union state and be resident in Lambeth. For more information see the list of eligible countries.

EU Citizens and the European Parliamentary Elections
The next scheduled election is due to take place on 4 June 2009. If you wish to vote in these elections you must be on the electoral register by 19 May 2009.
If you are a Citizen of one of the European Union (EU) countries and you wish to vote in these elections from your Lambeth Address you will be required to complete a European Parliament Voter Registration form (UC1) as well as the standard voter registration form.
If you fill in the UC1 form you are agreeing to vote in the UK, not in your home country. You may cancel this registration up to 19 May 2009.
If you are an EU citizen and wish to vote from your Lambeth address in the European Elections please call the Electoral Services office for a form.
If you intend to vote in the European Parliamentary Elections in your home country, rather than the UK, you do not need to complete a UC1 form.
European Parliamentary Voter registration forms will be sent to every registered EU citizen living in Lambeth in mid January. If you have not received your form by the end of January, please contact the Electoral Services Office for a replacement.
