Leader of the council

Councillor Steve ReedIn May 2006 Lambeth's residents voted for a new council with a clear agenda to make Lambeth safer and improve the local services that people rely on. As leader of the council I am responsible for making sure local people get the services they require.

Lambeth is one of the most exciting place to live, work or visit. With people from all over the world living together here, we're one of the most diverse places in Europe – and we are proud of that!

Here you can read about the work I am doing with my Cabinet, partners and the community and through my blog you can share your ideas with me on the issues that matter to you.

Best wishes

Councillor Steve Reed
