Lambeth Town Hall
Although Lambeth Council now has offices throughout the borough, the centre of Lambeth's local government is still in Brixton, where the Town Hall stands at the corner of Brixton Hill and Acre Lane.
The Town Hall houses the Council Chamber and Committee rooms where the borough's elected representatives meet regularly to deal with local affairs.
It also contains the Mayoral offices, the offices of the Chief Executive. (formerly the Town Clerk) and other administrative offices. Most people still turn naturally to the Town Hall for help and advice, so the borough's information centre and emergency service are also located here.
