Annual report

The Lambeth annual report for 2006/07 aims to give clear, honest and understandable information to our residents, stakeholders and partners about the activities and performance of the council. It also provides information on how we spend your money in the form of the summarised statement of accounts.

We hope you find the report useful and of interest. We would welcome your feedback on it and would encourage you to make your comments and suggestions via the online annual report feedback form or by using the form at the back of the document. On the form you can also register your interest in the budget consultation which is now an annual event and gives you the chance to help shape the council's budget by telling us your priorities.

As you read the report you will see that we are indeed on a journey towards excellence and have taken significant steps in getting there already. However there is still some distance to go so we now look forward to meeting the challenges and making the improvements this year which you will read about in next year's report.
