Local Area Agreement (2008-11)
Local Area Agreements (LAAs) are improvement plans negotiated between central government and local areas (such as Lambeth).
Lambeth's LAA is linked to a borough's Sustainable Community Strategy, in that it sets out what we will be improving in the next three-years – to move us toward realising our long term vision and outcomes for the borough. Lambeth's LAA (2008 – 11) should therefore be seen as our first three-year action plan for the Sustainable Community Strategy.
Our Local Area Agreement lists the specific targets we will be focusing on. More detailed information around why we are focusing on these areas can be found in the Sustainable Community Strategy.
