Assessments and reviews
Details of our performance information, assessments and reviews.
Lambeth is a great borough to live, work, learn and do business in and in the past year it's become cleaner, healthier and crime has gone down. That's the conclusion of a new national report called the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA).
Before the introduction of the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) in 2009 the Audit Commission produced a national league table of council performance by the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA), measuring each council's ability to plan, manage and deliver core services and how well they offered value for money.
In order to manage performance to deliver improvement we need to know how we are doing. We measure our performance against nationally as well as locally determined indicators.
The Joint Area Review (JAR) is a major inspection of all services for children and young people within Lambeth and in January 2009 it was announced that Lambeth scored three in all areas.
This is fantastic news for everyone in Lambeth and we should all be extremely proud of what we have achieved.
