Best value
Lambeth is committed to using best value as a tool for improving all our services focusing particularly on the key areas such as:

- Housing benefits
- Children and families
- People led regeneration.
Best value is central to supporting Lambeth's vision and values. We are also using best value to drive improvements in service areas which cut right across the council and determine our capacity to deliver good services. These are:

- Sustainable development
- Customer care.
Our aim is to ensure that the community plays a central role in this process so that we provide the right services in the right way.
Councils are required to produce an annual Best Value Performance Plan (BVPP).
This document sets out the council's priorities for the coming year, our past and current performance against national and local standards and targets, and our achievements during the past year.
