Corporate Assessment
Every four years the Audit Commission carries out a Corporate Assessment and the next assessment for us takes place from 15 -26 September.
What is the Corporate Assessment?
The Corporate Assessment is part of the Audit Commission’s Comprehensive Performance Assessment framework. The assessment measures how effectively we are working corporately and with our partners, to improve services and deliver improved outcomes for local people.
The assessment uses Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) that provides a framework to evaluate how well we are doing. These are:
- Ambition
- Prioritisation
- Capacity
- Performance Management
- Achievement, with sub themes of:
- Sustainable communities and transport
- Safer and stronger communities
- Healthier communities
- Older people
- Children and young people
The Audit Commission will be reviewing our work and talking to our partners and key stakeholders to find out how well we are doing before they award us with the final score in October 2008.
