Youth and play services
Over the past few months we have been working with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to develop a cooperative approach to service delivery in the following areas:
Young Lambeth cooperative
Building on this work, our next step is to set up a Young Lambeth cooperative that will oversee some services for children including play and youth.
We want young people (aged 11 and over), parents, local residents, groups and organisations to help us do this.
To register your interest, please complete the Young Lambeth cooperative registration form.
If you would like further information please:
This approach will see collaboration between different stakeholders and be defined by:
- Localism – engagement and involvement of local communities
- Co–production - so that local communities and stakeholders are involved in deciding what and how services should be delivered
- Developing cooperative models for service delivery that include mutuals, lead partner organisations, friends of groups
- Community commissioning – local people deciding which services should be commissioned to support young people.
