Census 2001 area profiles
Lambeth is comprised of 21 wards which are grouped into five town centres: North Lambeth, Brixton, Clapham and Stockwell, Streatham and Norwood.
We have developed an area profile for each ward and town centre with data extracted from the 2001 Census. There are some comparisions with the 1991 Census and with the borough as a whole.
You can view the profile, data tables and a map for each ward and town centre by clicking the appropriate link to the below. If you do not know where each ward is located you can view a map of the wards.
Accessing a ward will give you a short summary of the areas key points. Each ward and town centre contains the following thematic tables: Population by age, ethnic group, country of birth, household type and tenure, industry, occupation and qualification, long-term limiting illness, car ownership and travel to work.
