If for any reason you think that you are exempt or meet any of the cases on the 'registration not required factsheet', you must provide evidence as to why you are feel you are exempt from registration.

NVQ Level3 Playwork training
This NVQ aims to provide candidates with an appropriate level of knowledge, understanding and skills for a supervisory role within a Playwork setting. Candidates will attend an 18 week underpinning knowledge course and will then be observed in the workplace and will build a portfolio of evidence to prove their competence.
By the end of the programme candidates will be able to:
- Contribute to an organisational framework that reflects the needs and protects the right of children and young people
- Develop and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for children
- Develop and promote positive relationships
- Plan and support self directed play
- Reflect on and develop practice.
Candidates must be employed in a supervisory position in an out of school setting. It is recommended that candidates hold an existing Level 2 Playwork qualification.
Once the underpinning knowledge course has been completed, trainers will make recommendations as to progression onto the NVQ. If candidates are ready for assessment, they will be allocated an assessor, complete an induction and assessment will be carried out in the workplace using various methods such as observation, witness reports, projects and case studies.
This course is being offered free by 4Children.
If you are interested contact Sophie Hoskins at Playwork@cwdcouncil.org.uk or complete an application form and return it to Emma Syndercombe at emma.syndercombe@4children.org.uk.
