CYPS service plan

The Children and Young People's Service (CYPS) departmental Service Plan sets out our most important goals and priorities for 2008-09 which reflect the department's key priorities:

• Safeguarding children and young people
• Raising achievement and narrowing the achievement gap between children and young people
• Supporting children and young people to avoid risky and harmful behaviours

The CYPS Service Plan shows how our work fits into the council’s priorities and supports the delivery of the council’s Corporate Plan 2008-11.
