Lambeth Children and Young People's Plan 2011-14 – the partnership plan for improving the lives of children and young people in the borough
The Children and Young People's Plan 2011-14 (CYPP) sets out the vision and aspirations of the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership for children and young people in Lambeth. It is focused on a number of shared strategic priorities that will drive the continued improvement in outcomes for children and young people.
The plan demonstrates the commitment of the partnership to integrating service delivery, sustaining partnership working, raising achievement, safeguarding children and young people, and developing the children services' workforce. It also forms the basis of the work programme of the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership.
The vision of Lambeth Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership is:
- Prevention and early intervention for children and young people of identified concern to all partners.
- To develop cooperative partnership working at the neighbourhood level.
- Joint workforce development across the partnership.
Cross cutting priority: Children and young people are safeguarded and protected from harm.
'To ensure Lambeth's children and young people are happy, healthy, safe and can achieve their full potential, by providing effective support to all, with special attention given to those who are most vulnerable and at risk.'
The vision will be achieved through implementation of the CYPP priorities for the Partnership:
