Professional development services

Professional development services, located at the Professional Development Centre in Brixton, are the main co-ordinator of training and development for school staff within the London Borough of Lambeth.

We work with training organisers to deliver a wide range of courses aimed at improving the quality of school education.

Conference facilities

Our modern, well-equipped conference facilities, at the Professional Development Centre, are available for hire to schools and businesses with optional administrative support and catering.

The Professional Development Centre provides modern, fully equipped training and conference facilities.

Our facilities are available for training, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and workshops. Our purpose-built, air-conditioned rooms offer flexible layout options and a wide range of presentation equipment enabling us to meet most requirements from private, informal training rooms to a 100-seat theatre hall.

How to find us

The centre is situated at International House, in Brixton; just five minutes walk from Brixton underground and British Rail stations. These buses stop within two minutes walk of the centre; 35, 45, 345, P4, 2, 3, 196, 322, 118, 196, 133, 159, 250, 355.

Opening hours

Office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, but bookings can be arranged outside these hours.

Disabled access

There is disabled access to all areas.

Parking

Brixton multi-storey car park is adjacent to the building.
