Club for young people with autism and asperger's
Lambeth Autism Group and Lambeth Youth Services are running a club for young people aged 12 to 25-years-old with autism and asperger's every Thursdays at Lansdowne Youth Centre. Activities include: disco, refreshments, fun activities, games, and a parents "chill-out" zone to share information.

Parent Partnership
The Parent Partnership can help:
- parents and carers of all children with special educational needs
- anyone who needs help or advice regarding statutory assessment procedures;
- anyone who is concerned about their child's progress at school.
Aiming High for Disabled Children
Aiming High for Disabled Children (AHDC) is the government transformation programme for disabled children's services.
The short breaks initiative forms part this. It aims to improve outcomes and provide more opportunities for disabled children and their families.

This group, which has been in existence since January 2008 meets six times per year. Its purpose is to assist in the development and maintenance of high quality services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Talk about autism
Talk about autism is an online autism community hosted by TreeHouse, the national charity for autism education.
The aim of the community is to provide a safe and supportive space where parents, carers and families can discuss issues surrounding autism.

Advice sessions at Children's centres in Lambeth
We run advice sessions for parents and carers across Lambeth at the following centres:
- Rosendale Children Centre - Tuesdays
- The Mary Sheridan Centre - Wednesdays
- Kingswood Children Centre - Mondays
In the advice session we offer:
- high quality information and advice for parents who have a child with a disability or additional need
- up to date fact sheets and leaflets on a variety of issues such as benefits, tax credits and other financial help, holidays and play and leisure
- information on your local children's centre and what they can offer you and your family
- information on the range of services offered by Contact a Family.
We also run workshops and pamper sessions for parents, have a newsletter and support parents to set up and run parents groups.
