Expanded primary schools

The following primary schools are expanding their reception intake as part of an agreed primary school planning strategy for the 2010/11 academic year. However, as from September 2010 Henry Cavendish will permanently expand to a 4-form entry primary school, admitting 120 children.

Schools expanding their reception provision for 2010/11

  • Henry Cavendish
    An additional 60 children bringing the reception class intake total to 120 children (this is a permanent expansion)
  • Herbert Morrison
    An additional 28 children bringing the reception class intake to 56 children.
  • Hill Mead
    An additional 30 children bringing the reception class intake total to 90 children.
  • Immanuel and St Andrew's CE
    An additional 30 children bringing the reception class intake total to 60 children.
  • Kingswood
    An additional 60 children bringing the reception class intake total to 120 children.
  • Julian's
    An additional 30 children bringing the reception class intake total to 60 children.

All of these expansions with the exception of Kingswood Primary and Juian's Primary were included in the figures laid out in the 'Starting School in Lambeth' book.
