Schools admissions
Starting school is a very important milestone in your child's life. Lambeth has a selection of excellent schools catering for a range of needs. The information below will help you select the right school and guide you through the application process.
Primary school admissions
If your child was born between 1 September 2003 and 31 August 2004, the application closing date (1 February 2008) for reception class 2008/09 academic year has now passed.
If your child was born between 1 September 2003 and 31 August 2004, and you have not made an application for a Lambeth primary school reception class place, you will still need to complete a reception class common application form (this form is for Lambeth schools only). Please note your application will be deemed as 'late'.
You will still need to complete any supplementary information forms required by the schools to which you are applying. These additional forms can be obtained from the school and should be submitted directly to the school.
If you change address after submitting the common application form, please notify the Lambeth School Admissions Team as soon as possible as it may effect the application.

Secondary school admissions
The application closing date for Year 7 entry to secondary school in 2008 has now passed. This applied to children born between 1 September 1996 and 31 August 1997, or taught as a Year 6 child during the 2006/07 academic year.
If you have not made an application and your child is due to transfer to secondary school in 2008, you will still need to complete a common application form (this form is for Lambeth residents only). Please note your application will be deemed as 'late'.
