Applying for schools in other boroughs

The Department for Education and Skills has directed all Local Authorities to co-ordinate admission arrangements for all
secondary schools from September 2005 (although City Technology Colleges, which are independent schools, may choose not to participate).

Parents resident in Lambeth, but who wish to apply for a school maintained by another Local Authority, still need to apply on the Lambeth Common Application Form and return it to the Lambeth Schools Admissions Team. All boroughs produce a booklet similar to this one, which gives full details of schools, entry tests and any supplementary forms that are required to be submitted with your application.
