Inclusion and Standards
The aim of the division is to help local pupils achieve their full potential at school by ensuring a fully inclusive education service.
The Division provides a range of services to support and challenge schools to improve their performance for Lambeth's residents particularly in the areas of numeracy and literacy.
It is responsible for promoting high standards throughout the LEA's schools and ensuring that all the available resources, particularly the skills and abilities of staff, are used to raise standards of achievement.
The division also contains business units working with the local community, families, carers and specialist agencies in order to develop and improve the council's education services for all pupils.
The annualĀ Lambeth Chief Inspector's report is a summary of the progress made by Lambeth schools and pupils in raising achievement. It also acts as an interim review of the LEA's work to achieve key targets in Lambeth's Children and young people's plan and education achievement plan.
