Secondary school in-year admissions - for 2011/12 academic year

This relates to those applying for a secondary school place after 1 September 2011 for year 7 to year 11 in the 2011/12 academic year, therefore born between 1 September 1995 and 31 August 2000.

The Government requires all councils to co-ordinate in-year (casual) admissions from September 2011. A normal admissions round refers to applications for the start of
reception in a primary school or secondary transfer from primary school to year 7 in secondary school. All applications outside of normal admissions are regarded as
'in-year' (causal) admissions. Your application will be considered as in-year if:

• you are applying for a place in years 1 to 6 at a primary school or years 8 to 11 at a secondary school
• you are applying for a reception place at a primary school or a year 7 place at a secondary school after school has started in September.

How to apply

If you are a Lambeth resident you can apply using a paper, downloadable Secondary school in-year Common Application Form (iCAF) 2011/12 from 1 September 2011 or by requesting a copy from Lambeth School Admissions Team by calling 020 7926 9503.

If you live in a different borough to Lambeth, please apply using your home borough's iCAF, even if you are applying for a Lambeth school.

Your completed forms should either: 

• be handed in at the Customer Service Centre in Olive Morris House, 18 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RL 
• or posted using the correct postage to Lambeth School Admissions Team, CYPS ERAA Service, 6th Floor, International House, Canterbury Crescent, London SW9 7QE.

Supplementary information forms

Changing your address

If you change address after submitting your iCAF, please notify the Lambeth School Admissions Team as soon as possible as it may effect your application.
