Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs)

Lambeth is a great place to start your teaching career. On average, we take on over 100 NQTs every year into our 90 nursery, primary, secondary and special schools, and provide one of the most highly regarded and tailored NQT induction programmes in the country.

NQT application process

If you are training, or have trained, as a Primary (including Nursery or Primary Special School) teacher, please see the application process for Primary NQTs.

Please note: all available Primary Pool interviews have now been held.
If you apply from this point on, and your application meets our person specification, it will be added to our Primary NQT database and circulated to Lambeth nursery and primary schools when schools are unable to fill their positions from those candidates already interviewed and accepted into the Primary Pool.

The NQT Application form should not be used between the end of May and the last week in October. We do not accept any new NQT applications during this time.
