2nd Annual Lambeth Children's Centre Conference
The 2nd Annual Lambeth Children's Centre Conference took place on Friday 23 November at The Oval Conference Centre.
Children's Centres bring together a range of services for children under 5 and their families. Services include childcare, family support services, health and advice about employment. They also offer integrated care, learning and development for children from birth to five.
Children's Centre staff and service providers were invited to the conference. The aim of the day was to take stock of progress with discussion and debate on partnership working, the role of health, the bringing in of Phase 2 Children's Centres next year, engaging families and an opportunity for professionals to network. There was also an update on wider developments in Children and Young People's Services including Team Around the Child.
